Still not sure about our Optimist Coaching Series, here are a few FAQs that may get you over the hump: Question: How much time do I need to commit to coaching? Answer: Approximately two to three hours per week. This includes online coaching, studying, and project time. Time varies depending on the project you choose. Question: What specific skills or knowledge will I gain from this workshop? Answer: Inclusive leadership, effective problem solving, process mapping for improvement, data analysis, root cause analysis, effective communication, collaboration and more. Question: I'm not in a leadership role. Can I still participate even though I'm not a "leader"? Answer: I am guessing that you ARE a leader in some aspect of your life, but to answer your question... Yes. You can and we encourage you to participate. Question: Do I need any prior experience or knowledge to participate? Answer: You don't need to know about Six Sigma or be a math wiz to participate in the Green Belt coaching pathways. However, we highly recommend some familiarity with data and team work before registering. Question: What materials or resources will be provided? Answer: We provide videos, reusable templates and checklists at no additional cost. Question: Are there opportunities for personalized feedback? Answer: Yes! Most of the coaching is group coaching, but you will receive personalized guidance during the coaching calls, through our online platform, email, and texts. Question: How will the coaching be delivered? Answer: The interactive sessions are online and we'll ask you to complete online experiences using our engaging training platform. Question: What is the size of the class? Answer: Class sizes approximately 10. Question: Will the Six Sigma coaching include manufacturing examples and scary math?
